Hi friend! I’m Joseph Mathew — welcome to my personal website!
A little about me — I grew up in a small town in Kansas. I majored in economics and political science at Northwestern University. Since graduating in June 2019, I’m working as a Digital Technology Strategist with Do Big Things in Chicago, IL, optimizing email and social campaigns for progressive political campaigns and non-profits.
I pride myself on my integrity, competitive spirit, and commitment to life-long learning. These attributes weren’t innate; they were attained through the synthesis of my experiences in small-town America and a top-tier university.
I’ve dealt with more than my fair share of failures to get to where I am today. But I’ve always believed that the greatest moments of failure are followed by the greatest moments of growth, in one way or another. That attitude isn’t going to change anytime soon.
